Flamenco is an expression of passion and emotion; with it, the feelings that make us human are honored and celebrated. Whether you’re an avid flamenco lover or just seeing it for the first time, there’s no better, more authentic way to witness firsthand the raw power of this captivating Spanish art form.
Ricardo Fernández del Moral Pozuelo (Ciudad Real 1974) started playing the guitar at the age of 8 in his hometown, Daimiel, under the influence of his father, a flamenco singer and great flamenco fan, receiving lessons from the prestigious masters Oscar Herrero and Manolo Martín.
At the age of 14 he began to play in the flamenco club "Juan Antonio Cordoba" in Almagro, where he soon became the official guitarist, accompanying all the singers who passed through the club. Shortly after the flamenco peña "La Sonanta" of Ciudad Real, also requires him as their official guitarist.
During these years in which he accompanies the guitar to great figures and most of the Flamenco artists of his region, he discovers that he enjoys singing even more than playing, so, encouraged by family and friends, he begins his facet as a singer, performing in some of the festivals organized by the flamenco club "La Sonanta" of Ciudad Real.
